To help both you and your child get the most out of your dance experience we suggest the following.
- Talk to your child about coming to dance class.
- Explain that there will be other children coming to dance as well.
- If time permits arrange a visit to the studio so you can have a tour with your child before they commence class. This gives them time to absorb where dance class is, what it looks like and to meet the staff.
- Avoid being late so your child can enter the studio with all of the other children. Little children can feel like a spectacle when all eyes are on them when they enter once class has commenced.
- Ensure your child goes to the toilet before class starts.
